Guwahati Railway Station (station code: GHY) is situated in the heart of Guwahati city, Assam, at Station Road, Gopinath Bordoloi Road, Paltan Bazaar. It serves as the divisional headquarters for the Northeast Frontier Railway and is the largest and busiest railway station in Northeast India, acting as a major transportation hub for the region. The station is well connected to other parts of the city via cabs, buses (ASTC Bus Terminal is just behind the station), auto-rickshaws, and e-rickshaws.
